STREETS FOR PEOPLE

East Acton
This scheme consisted of streetscape improvements to Old Oak Common Lane, at the end of Erconwald Street. The streetscape was in need of upgrading, particularly as paving improvements were made nearby in 2004-05 at the Old Oak Common Lane/Du Cane Road junction Street. The footway was repaved, kerbs were realigned, cycle stands and benches installed, trees and plating introduced and the road was resurfaced.
