Best Practice Workshop: Working in partnership leads to better outcomes
Yesterday WestTrans hosted the re-launch of the Act TravelWise London Forum which took place at 55, the Broadway, the Head Office of the London Underground.
It was a useful session with a good mix of people in the room which led to some lively discussions. The workshop was attended by transport and public health professionals from at least 12 different local authorities, representatives from the NHS, TfL, higher education institutions and private sector consultants.
The theme of this workshop event was to share best practice examples of how working in partnership leads to better outcomes. Topics varied widely from using air quality and public health as engagement tools to how business and borough partnerships are innovating travel behaviour change.
All presentation slides are available here to download (.pdf, 15Mb).
We thank everybody who took the afternoon out to take part in the workshop and welcome your feedback including your thoughts as to what topics you would like to see at the next of our workshops which will take place later this year. Watch this space!
