About Us
Strategic Aim
WestTrans work collaboratively across West London. We aim to promote an improvement in transport conditions for those living and working in the sub-region, through sustainable transport schemes and initiatives which address the key issues of congestion, public transport provision and convenient orbital movement.
The WestTrans Partnership
WestTrans is a partnership formed of the six west London Boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon and Hounslow. We work with Transport for London (TfL) to identify, develop and implement transport projects to the benefit of the sub-region.
We also contribute advice to West London leaders relating to the development of an appropriate transport strategy for West London, and provide a platform to lobby regional and national government in a cohesive manner on behalf of the sub-region.
The WestTrans Partnership has a remit to develop and deliver strategic transport improvement programmes, in line with local and regional objectives, and provide support on transport issues to a wide range of key West London stakeholders. These include:
- British Airports Authority,
- West London Alliance,
- West London Business,
- Park Royal Partnership,
- the education & training sector and
- health, community & voluntary sector organisations.
